Antique Mandolin Guitarophone

An incredibly cool, unique instrument.
Made in the early 1900s and manufactured by the Mandolin and Harp Company of America in Jersey City, NJ, this one is from 1917. It is neither a mandolin nor a guitar. It most closely resembles an autoharp, but it uses piano hammers to strike notes.
Normal wear and tear for an antique instrument. It sounds great.
