Pedal Pad Patch Pad Guitar Effects Pedalboard Patch Bay
- $15 per day
- Pickup Available from Austin
The Patch Pad was recently discontinued and there is no other passive in/out box on the market right now with jacks on the top so that zero precious real estate is wasted.
-Makes setting-up and tearing-down fast and hassle free
-Lets you operate external rack effects
-Run a separate pedal chain through your amplifier's effects loop by using the second channel of the Patch Pad
-Configure mono or stereo combinations, great for 2-amp setups
-Protects your valuable effects pedal jacks from wearing out
-Wired point to point
-Completely passive, requires no power.
-Balanced Loop Feature: Intended use is for channel switching footswitches for your amp. As an example, say you have a Vibrato/Reverb footswitch for a Fender Vibroverb mounted on your board which uses a TRS (stereo) cable. This goes into one side of the balanced loop. You can then leave it connected just like any other pedal on the board. During setup you would then run a stereo cable from the other jack in the balanced loop to the back of the amp. The important part of the balanced loop is that it does not share a ground wire with the other jack sockets on the Patch Pad. Many amp footswitches have LED indicators which use the signal wire to power the LED and that makes for a noisy pedal board if you share a ground with the audio patch bay."
